OSHA 10

OSHA 10-Hour Construction is beneficial for entry level workers on a job site. Workplace safety training provides for a safe and healthful work environment, specifically for hazard avoidance.

Upon completion of the course, the learner will be able to recognize and identify Safety and
Health Hazards as outlined below:

  1. Recognize worker rights that are protected under OSHA and responsibilities an employer has under OSHA.
  2. Types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and their appropriate use.
  3. Identify different types of health and safety hazards on a worksite and the means of mitigating them.
  4. Identify major fall hazards, common caught-in or -between hazards, common struck-by hazards, electrocution hazards.
  5. Describe types of confined space hazards and recognize ways to protect oneself from those hazards.
  6. Understand employer requirements for providing a safety and health program that effectively reduces and prevents employee injury and fatality.

Attendance Policy: MoD Training Academy requires 100% attendance to fulfill course requirements. Students must arrive to class no later than 30 minutes after training begins.
